When we are contemplating June 4th 1989, everybody will glance in the direction of the cold war, in the western part of Europe, to Poles this was the beginning of the downfall of the Soviet empire.
The breakthrough was then, at that time, with Gorbachev, glasnost, the Polish thing was minor.
Just a natural thing, just had to happen.
Here in Poland they celebrate this event in a most mysterious way, call it the birth of Poland, the day of the holy freedom, I cannot participate in that, the world is bigger than Poland.
